Tina Yang, M.S., L.Ac. and Dr. Suzanne Tang are co-founders of Coastal Acupuncture and Natural Health Center (CANH) located in the heart of Orange County in the city of Costa Mesa. CANH specializes in family medicine, women’s health, fertility, stress & emotional imbalance, hormone imbalance, thyroid and adrenal conditions, and pain management. CANH practitioners practice integrative medicine partnering with several specialists including fertility doctors, obstetricians & gynecologists, pediatricians, endocrinologists, orthopedic surgeons, primary care doctors, and physical therapists. They integrate the most effective forms of treatment that focuses on the whole person and addresses the root cause of illness. Tina Yang, M.S., L.Ac.
Tina Yang is a 4th generation Chinese Medical Practitioner, a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist, and a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine.
Tina is the co-founder of Coastal Acupuncture & Natural Health Center (CANH) in Costa Mesa and is the primary acupuncturist at the CANH clinic in Laguna Hills, CA. She has over 15 years of clinical experience and has practiced in several integrative clinics, including the Susan Samueli Center for Integrative Medicine (SSCIM) at the University of California, Irvine. At SSCIM, she served as a committee member for the herbal medicine review board, developed the herbal dispensary and launched their first off-site integrative medical center.
She offers the most effective and comprehensive care plans that focuses on the root cause of the condition as well as the symptoms. These customized care plans incorporate acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nutrient therapy, dietary and lifestyle counseling, as well as laboratory testing. Other modalities such as Reiki and Cranial Sacral therapy are used to compliment acupuncture and to treat the mental and emotional aspects of her patients.
Dr. Suzanne Tang, N.D., L.Ac.
Dr. Suzanne Tang is a Licensed Naturopathic Doctor and California Board Certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist.
Dr. Tang graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology at the University of California at Los Angeles in 1997, where she was inspired to learn a natural, safe, and science-based approach to wellness and health. This inspiration led her to the leading, accredited academic and research center for natural medicine, Bastyr University in Seattle, WA. Here she earned a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2003.
Since 2004, Dr. Tang has gained many years of extensive clinical experience in private practice at several integrative health clinics in Orange County, CA. She is a well-known community speaker of natural medicine for the American Heart Association and corporations in Orange County, CA. Dr. Tang has been a contributing writer to many health magazines and newsletters and has been featured on the ABC Channel 7 News for her expertise on natural medicine and health. She taught and practiced at the UC Irvine School of Medicine and UC Irvine Susan Samueli Center for Integrative Medicine. She co-founded Coastal Acupuncture & Natural Health Center (CANH) in 2009. Dr. Tang creates balance in her life by spending quality time with her husband and two children, dancing, hiking outdoors, reading, meditating and practicing yoga.
