Dr. Loren Fishman has also just started a new study and Be The Change is actively supporting this research by hosting these monthly classes with Susan Kjesbo. Being in a study is a very motivating factor to help someone keep up their yoga practice for stronger bones. This new study is hoping to establish a relationship between quantity and quality of yoga and the rise in bone mineral density.
Susan Kjesbo is a Therapeutic yoga teacher focusing on the healing aspects of yoga, she works to help her students connect the mind, body and spirit by creating a compassionate environment during class. Yoga for bone strength and reducing stress are two of her specialities. She has trained with Loren Fishman and is currently participating in the International Study, Yoga vs. Osteoporosis being conducted by Loren Fishman. www.susankjesbo.com
