Learn About + Experience Yoga Therapy
Yoga Therapists work with students one-on-one to assist them in creating positive change in all aspects of life. Whether the student is experiencing a specific health condition such as herniated discs, sciatica, depression, anxiety, addiction etc., or is looking to upgrade outdated habits; a Yoga Therapist is equipped to develop customized practices to meet the students needs, achieve goals and faithfully oversee the students progress as they move out of imbalance and towards a state of optimal health and joy.
Yoga Therapists utilize a multi-dimensional model to understand the clients specific needs, assessing physical, mental, emotional and energetic wellbeing and then offer tools at every level to improve relationships, lifestyle, career, self-care practices, diet, posture, musculoskeletal conditions, lung capacity, stress management, digestion, communication, mental clarity, mindset, emotional patterns, perception of reality and spiritual practices. In effect, Yoga Therapists assess and treat the whole person and are considered lifestyle management experts!
Ashley is enrolled in our Yoga Therapist Training program and will be explaining what yoga therapy is and how yoga therapy practices can be applied to your life. This workshop will consist of a discussion and yoga therapy practice, so please wear comfortable clothes for movement.

Ashley Arroliga, RYT-500, views yoga as a healing art. She completed her 200 and 300 HR trainings at Be the Change Yoga in Irvine, CA and is currently enrolled in their Yoga Therapist Training program. Ashley has a great love of holistic healing methods. She has a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Thomas Edison State University, and loves combining this background with the Yoga Sutras in practice.
Ashley teaches all levels of yoga, from therapeutic practices to intermediate vinyasa and hatha flow classes. She specializes in yoga for anxiety and stress management, has designed programs for first responders, and is passionate about working with pregnant mothers. She is a Viniyoga practitioner, meeting her students where they are and designing practices specific to their needs. She builds strong connections with her students and loves taking on private clients to delve deeper into the many tools yoga offers.
