Chinese Medicine to balance the energetic body. Acupuncture points stimulate the nervous system to release chemicals in the muscles, spinal cord, and brain to reduce inflammation and nourish the immune system.
Acupuncture is over 3,000 years old, and is one of the most commonly used medical procedures in the world. It is a gentle and natural approach to health, and it is a method of encouraging the body to promote natural healing and balance. This is done by gently inserting fine needles at very precise acupuncture points in order to prevent and treat disease. Acupuncture points stimulate the nervous system to release chemicals in the muscles, spinal cord, and brain to reduce inflammation and nourish the immune system. Treatment is virtually painless and creates a feeling of relaxation.
“The Knowledge of Life and Longevity,” India’s 5,000 year old natural healing science. Ayurvedic practices prescribe dietary recommendations, herbs and self-care practices to bring us back into balance.
Ayurveda, which literally means “The knowledge of Life and Longevity”, is a 5,000-year old powerful natural healing science from India. Health as defined by Ayurveda is a balanced state of body, mind and consciousness. Ayurveda focuses on the whole person and seeks to correct the imbalances at the root cause of disease, instead of focusing just on the symptoms, which is the allopathic medicine paradigm. Health is not just the absence of illness or symptoms – it is a state of balance, radiance, joy, vitality and peaceful wellbeing. Whether you are looking to alleviate occasional digestive issues, or obtain relief from a chronic condition, Ayurveda can help you.
Hypnotherapy is an alternative curative healing method that is used to create subconscious change in a client in the form of new responses, thoughts, attitudes, behaviors or feelings. The practice of promoting healing or positive development in any way is known as hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy aims to re-program patterns of behavior within the mind, enabling irrational fears, phobias, negative thoughts and suppressed emotions to be overcome. As the body is released from conscious control during the relaxed trance-like state of hypnosis, breathing becomes slower and deeper, the pulse rate drops and the metabolic rate falls. Similar changes along nervous pathways and hormonal channels enable the sensation of pain to become less acute, and the awareness of unpleasant symptoms, such as nausea or indigestion, to be alleviated.
