Juris began studying in the Krishnamacharya lineage at the American Viniyoga Institute with Gary Kraftsow in 1994. He has served as Faculty for the Viniyoga Therapist Training, (2010-2015), Faculty for Viniyoga Foundations Program, (2010-2015), Faculty for Foundations for Yoga Therapy Training, (2011-2012), and Faculty Assistant for AVI Teacher Training and Yoga Therapy Training (2008- 2010). He has also trained Viniyoga Wellness Instructor Teachers (YA RYT-200).
