SUMMARY:10/2 Ayurvedic Lifestyle with Mas Vidal
DESCRIPTION:Workshop Overview\n \n \n \n \n \n Mas Vidal in an influential teacher\, speaker\, and author of Ayurveda\, Yoga\, and Vedantic philosophy worldwide. \nLearn how the ancient wisdom tradition of Ayurveda provides practical principles for health and wellness based on natural laws. These commonsense practices can be transformational if one understands what is best for their mind-body type and include the three major categories of diet\, sex\, and sleep.  This universal wisdom begins each day with special rituals that help connect human beings to their cosmic nature. The topic of diet will include oils\, basic food groups\, use of herbs and spices\, and what to do each day as soon as you arise from sleep.  Most of the world remains dormant and waits for something to go wrong with their body. It’s not a matter of if\, it’s when\, as karmic law abides equally to all human beings. Everything else can wait\, but your search for truth cannot! \nThis workshop will cover: \n\nKnowledge of the natural laws that sustain the relationship between human being and their cosmic nature.\nTeaching the Ayurvedic daily routine\, and take-home practices to the entire family.\nThe role of diet and Ayurvedic secrets in creating a powerful human body.\nSexuality and its influence on immunity\, digestion\, menstruation\, and longevity.\nLearn the basic rules around sleep and simple remedies for improving it.\nHerbs and Spices in the daily and seasonal diet.\nCreating skin and hair health and radiance\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Workshop Details\n \n \n \n \n \n Date:\n\nSunday\, October 2nd\n4:00 – 6:00PM\nBe The Change Yoga\nSpace Limited\n\nPricing:\n\n$40 Early Bird\n$50 Day of\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Click To Register\n \n Click To Register for Livestream\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Mas Vidal\n Yogi\, mystic\, and practitioner of Ayurveda\, Mas has become an influential teacher\, speaker\, and author of Ayurveda\, Yoga\, and Vedantic philosophy. SUMMARY:3/5 & 3/6 Anatomy\, Biomechanics\, and Movement for Yoga Therapy
DESCRIPTION:Course Overview\n \n \n \n \n \n For Yoga Teachers\, get first-hand experience of your own embodied\, sound alignment through practice\, learning anatomical context and imagery.\nIn this 2-day intensive with Cheri Dostal Ryba\, you’ll get first-hand experience of your own embodied\, sound alignment through practice\, learning anatomical context and imagery. We can best teach what we can feel and embody personally. \nDive into this intensive workshop to find greater structural alignment\, integrity and strength in your own practice as well as gaining skills of discernment and context for working with your students. Part of our work is developing a language for what we see\, how to recognize risk and observe the patterns of what manifests in a person’s asana practice. \nWe will also enjoy discussion around how physical alignment can support the other limbs of our practice and our life. We will close our time and deeply reconnect with a restorative practice. \nThis class provides a comprehensive exploration of the physical structure to understand optimal and faulty muscle recruitment patterns that have been identified to contribute to common musculoskeletal impairments. The skill of observation develops the ability to identify postures and muscle recruitment patterns that may cause faulty postures\, repetitive strain\, overstretching\, low back pain\, and energy inefficiency. \nIf you don’t already have a copy of Yoga: Mind Body Spirit by Donna Farhi\, it would be a welcome addition to your library and may support your process after this intensive. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Course Details\n \n \n \n \n \n Course Tuition:\n\n$299\nIncluded in 300hr auto-pay\n\nCourse Dates:\n\nSaturday\, March 5th 12:30 – 6:30 pm\nSunday\, March 6th 12:30 – 6:15 pm\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Click To Register\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Cheri Dostal Ryba\, C-IAYT\, E-RYT 500\n Cheri Dostal Ryba is Co-Director of our Yoga Therapist Training. Arjuna was born and raised on the east side of Detroit\, Michigan with two siblings and just his mother to care for them. His surroundings were governed by violence\, drugs and gangs\, which negatively influenced his perspective on life. At the age of 19\, he was shot in his femoral artery\, leaving him with the experience of death first-hand. After being paralyzed from the waist down for a year\, he went into depression from his endless self blame and shame. In addition to raising his own children\, Arjuna runs his nonprofit that focuses on empowering today’s youth to understand the importance of leading a balanced\, loving and mindful lifestyle. SUMMARY:1/27 Mothers Circle
DESCRIPTION:This Course is Open to All Students\n“Holding Mom” is a 10 month journey designed for mothers and care-givers to experience more nourishment and a deeper sense of belonging. This is an opportunity to unite through our diverse experiences of daughterhood and motherhood\, to bear witness to each other and drink from the well of sisterhood. We’ll meet once a month for two hours in an intimate group setting to explore a unique theme that will build week by week. \nWithin the safe container of our circle\, we’ll come to know ourselves better through self-inquiry practices and the experience of being mirrored by others. We’ll use the framework of universal archetypes to do this deep dive into our own relationship with The Feminine and how that plays out in our interpersonal relationships. We’ll explore the intricate tapestry of our mind-body system; witnessing how our anatomy\, physiology\, psychology\, sexuality and spirituality impact our daily life. \nOur time together will be a blend of movement\, breath work\, discussion\, and creative exercises aimed at providing opportunities for you to practice being on the receiving end of love\, from yourself and from the group. You’ll learn the art of self-mothering and have a safe place to share your victories and your challenges to others on the same path toward wholeness.
