Drawing from her experiences living in the mountains of rural Japan\, she creates functional pieces that embody simplicity and interconnectedness. She developed her passion for pottery in Southern California\, and apprenticed under Japanese ceramicists in Mashiko and Shigaraki\, as well as under Chinese ceramicists in Yixing and Wenzhou. Her work has been exhibited at TAG Gallery and the Echo Park Art Gallery in Los Angeles. In 2024\, Christina and her partner\, Eric\, founded Olomana Studios in Irvine\, where she continues to pursue her passion for pottery\, blending traditional techniques with her own artistic vision.
