Susan has been a yoga teacher for over 20 years. Trained at the Ananda School for Yoga and Meditation, she has an alignment base style but also one that encompasses the whole individual meeting him/her where they are in the moment. She is a certified yoga therapist, C-IAYT. Her meditation techniques are from the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda.
Susan has participated in an international yoga study that is indicating that yoga can improve bone strength for someone who has osteoporosis or osteopenia. This is an area of interest for her and she has lead workshops and classes on bone health and yoga in southern California. Susan is a member of Yoga Alliance and the International Association of Yoga Therapy. She has been trained in hatha, meditation, restoratives, yoga for seniors, in the Fishman method yoga for osteoporosis, chair yoga, and yoga tune-up ball. She is also a doTerra wellness advocate.
