Reiki Trainings

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands or hands hovering right above your body” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Prerequisites

We feel it is important to experience Reiki in order to fully understand, learn and provide as a service to others.  We highly recommend you attend a private healing session, a class or event where Reiki is offered. Be the Change proudly offers each of these options to ensure a richly rewarding training experience. 

 You must have a Reiki I certification in order to attend Reiki Level II.  You must have a Reiki II certification in order to attend Reiki Level III. Your Reiki Level training must have been taken with a Reiki Master Teacher in person. We regretfully do not accept online, mail order, DVD or other distant Reiki training for qualification.

Level 1 Reiki Training

This 1-day beginning training is one of the most thorough and comprehensive available. It includes both a combination of the Japanese style as taught by Dr. Usui and Western style as introduced by Mrs. Takata. In Level 1 of this course you will be introduced to Reiki. We concentrate on opening the physical body to accept energetic life force energy channels. An attunement of First Degree Reiki raises the vibratory rate of the energy centers in the both body and in the hands. The channel is then sealed. Once you are attuned to the Reiki energy, it will never go away and you will retain it for life. Upon receiving the Level 1 attunement, you will be able to channel Reiki for healing self and others.

Level 2 Reiki Training

In this 1-day Level 2 of this course you will learn how to perform Reiki from a distance as well as how to use aspects of the Reiki energy to clear unwanted habits and manifest your goals. This is a quantum leap in the ability to access the Reiki energies. Second Degree Reiki emphasis is on adjusting the emotional energy body, rather than the physical body, differing from the primary focus of First Degree. You will learn how to draw the Reiki symbols, activate and use them. Their many uses are explained and their inner meaning is discussed. You will also learn to use a reiki pendulum in a healing session as well. Practice time is given so students know from experience how the energy of each symbols feels and the results each symbol produces. Reiki I is a pre-requisite.

  • Level 2 dates: February 1st, 2025 and March 1st, 2025

Level 3 Reiki Training

Level 3 deepens the reiki teachings with additional symbols, making this healing modality only richer. In addition, it is a stepping stone to becoming a Reiki Master in Level 4. You will receive the Reiki Master symbol expanding your awareness of this life force energy and opening you fully to this flow of healing energy. You will also learn how to use reiki to heal past wounds. Reiki I and II are a pre-
requisite.

Level 4 Reiki Training

This is the highest level and ability to access Reiki energies this attunement will amplify the ability to access and channel the Reiki energies to the fullest degree. You will learn how to perform attunements on others wanting to utilize Reiki for themselves. This is designed for those who wish to practice at the highest degree as a practitioner and become a Reiki Master. Reiki I, II, and III are pre-requisites.

A yogi practitioner for 30 years and a teacher for 10, Karen Duganier believes we all contain an innate ability to heal.
