READY TO UNDERSTAND THE BODY THROUGH A THERAPEUTIC LENS?

If you are a yoga teacher who wants to move beyond general sequencing and truly understand how yoga impacts the body’s systems, this training is for you.

Yoga Therapy for the Energetic Body and Human Systems (YTEB) is a 98-hour professional course designed to deepen your knowledge of the respiratory, digestive, circulatory, endocrine, and nervous systems — and how to apply yoga therapy safely and effectively within each.

You will explore common conditions affecting these systems, including autoimmune disorders, neurological conditions, cancer care, and chronic pain. Through assessment frameworks and therapeutic reasoning, you’ll learn how to identify primary and secondary imbalances and select appropriate yoga therapy tools to support regulation, resilience, and healing.

This course bridges classical yogic understanding of the energetic body with modern anatomy and physiology, giving you the confidence to work with complex presentations in private sessions, clinical settings, or community-based programs.

Classes begin May 30, 2026 and run through October.

Rolling admissions allow you to start with any module.

If you are ready to elevate your therapeutic skill set and truly understand how yoga supports the human system from the inside out, we invite you to join us.

What You’ll Learn

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

Assess energetic imbalances in the pranamaya kosha using the Pancha Vayu and chakra models to identify primary and secondary patterns of dis-ease.

Understand common disorders of the respiratory, digestive, circulatory, endocrine, immune, and nervous systems, including symptoms, illness trajectories, and contraindications for yoga practices.

Apply the four-step Vyūha model to prioritize symptoms, clarify therapeutic goals, and design effective, individualized yoga therapy plans.

Develop customized yoga therapy protocols for conditions such as migraines, neurological disorders, autoimmune disease, cardiovascular conditions, metabolic disorders, chronic fatigue, and persistent pain.

Skillfully apply yogic therapeutic strategies including langhana, brṁhaṇa, samāna, śodhana, and śamana to restore systemic balance.

Use yoga therapy tools to regulate the nervous system and enhance parasympathetic response, including asana, breathwork, restorative practices, meditation, mudra, mantra, and adapted Yoga Nidra.

Communicate confidently in interdisciplinary settings, using appropriate medical terminology and collaborating within scope of practice, including recognition of red flags and referral needs.

Teach and adapt effectively, meeting diverse learning styles, providing meaningful feedback, and evaluating client progress using validated assessment tools.
