I love sharing my passion for the wisdom of yoga. From a client-centered and evidence-informed approach, I use the tools of yoga to help individuals return to greater balance and overall well-being through the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit. With over 30 years of personal practice, I bring empathy and inclusivity to my teaching, informed by my own lived experience.
I’m a certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT), trained at the Ananda School for Yoga and Meditation. My teaching integrates an alignment-based style with a holistic approach that honors each person’s current state of being. I also incorporate meditation techniques inspired by the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda.
I’m trained in Hatha Yoga, Meditation, Restorative Yoga, Chair Yoga, Seniors Yoga, Memory Maintenance Yoga (for early-onset dementia), and Yoga Therapy Tune-Up balls. I also hold a specialized certification in Yoga for Osteoporosis from Dr. Loren Fishman, a leading expert in the field. I had the opportunity to participate in an international yoga study exploring how yoga may support bone strength in individuals with osteoporosis or osteopenia.
I’m the founder of Yoga for Bones, an online platform dedicated to safe, targeted yoga for those with osteoporosis. I also serve as a Yoga Therapist for Anxiety, Depression, and Trauma at Orange County Health Psychology and regularly lead workshops and classes throughout Southern California, both in person and online.
