4/29 Yoga Sutras Course

Course Overview
Yoga Sutras for Daily Life & Yoga Therapy
What if the Yoga Sutras weren’t just a philosophical text — but a practical guide to upgrading every aspect of your life?
This 12-month course is designed to bring the teachings of Patañjali’s Yoga Sutras into lived experience; supporting transformation across the body, breath, mind, relationships, and daily patterns.
Together, we will explore the Sutras through a yoga therapy and human flourishing lens, translating these timeless teachings into practical tools you can apply immediately in your personal life, your teachings, and your work with clients.
Each monthly session offers a focused deep dive into the nature of the mind, the causes of suffering, and the pathways toward greater clarity, resilience, and sustained joy. You will learn how to observe patterns, shift habitual tendencies, and apply yogic tools in a way that is both accessible and deeply therapeutic.
Rooted in the lineage of T. Krishnamacharya, this course emphasizes application over theory. You will develop the ability to:
• Understand the mind through the lens of the Yoga Sutras
• Identify patterns that contribute to stress, imbalance, and suffering
• Apply practical tools to regulate the body, breath, and mind
• Integrate yogic wisdom into relationships and daily decision-making
• Translate these teachings into effective yoga therapy practices for clients
This is not just a study of a text.
It is a return to the source of yoga as a system of transformation.
Studying the Sutras in a consistent, community-based setting allows the teachings to unfold over time, deepening insight, strengthening practice, and creating meaningful shifts in how you live, relate, and serve.
