Mother’s Day Hand-Building Vase Workshop
Celebrate Mother’s Day with a heartfelt and hands-on ceramics experience. In this special workshop, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind handmade vase using traditional hand-building techniques — no prior experience needed!
Inspired by the soft, natural elegance of earthy textures and sunlit glazes, participants will craft minimalist, organic forms — simple yet full of character. Whether you’re making a gift for your mom or spending quality time together, this workshop is all about connection, creativity, and care.

Christina Jin
Christina Jin is a ceramic artist based in Irvine, CA, whose work is deeply rooted in Zen philosophy and inspired by nature. Drawing from her experiences living in the mountains of rural Japan, she creates functional pieces that embody simplicity and interconnectedness. She developed her passion for pottery in Southern California, and apprenticed under Japanese ceramicists in Mashiko and Shigaraki, as well as under Chinese ceramicists in Yixing and Wenzhou. Her work has been exhibited at TAG Gallery and the Echo Park Art Gallery in Los Angeles. In 2024, Christina and her partner, Eric, founded Olomana Studios in Irvine, where she continues to pursue her passion for pottery, blending traditional techniques with her own artistic vision.
