Krystal Jalene Thomas MFA, BS is a Continuing Lecturer and member of the Professional Faculty at Berkeley Haas. She holds degrees from Berkeley Haas and the USC School of Cinematic Arts, Peter Stark Producing Program. A regular on the “Haas Club Six” list of faculty achieving high student ratings, Thomas has been consistently recognized for her teaching work in marketing and communications. Katie Allen MPH, C-IAYT co-founded Be The Change Yoga and is the School Director for the 300-hour Teacher Training Program and 850-hour Yoga Therapist Training. She received her Master’s degree in Public Health from Tulane University and wrote her thesis on Yoga’s Ability to Prevent and Treat Chronic Diseases.

Since then, her mission is to use her public health lens as a means of advancing the field of Yoga Therapy.  She develops yoga therapy program for hospitals, health systems and founded AlcheMe Yoga Therapy, a professional yoga therapy organization consisting of education, research, program implementation and job creation.

Cheri Dostal Ryba C-IAYT, Franklin Method Movement Educator and Yoga Therapist, has been teaching movement for 15 years, full time since 2007. She started practicing Yoga as a student in a B.A. Dance degree program, and began teaching and studying Yoga more formally in 2007.

Studying and teaching about the human body and brain is her lifelong passion. Anatomy is often at the core of her lessons, giving students what she playfully calls ‘x-ray vision’. She blends yoga, dance, Franklin Method, and fitness education to address your goals.

Cheri offers one on one private sessions to adults. As a yoga therapist, she’s helped people with chronic pain, sacroiliac joint and back injuries, stroke survivor, mental health/anxiety, TMJ and neck issues, digestive health, pelvic pain and incontinence.
