Foundations of Asana for Yoga Therapy
March 3-4th, 2018
This 11.75-hour class is led by Yoga Therapist Cheri Dostal Ryba. This intensive serves as a bridge for yoga teachers who have trained in different lineages and aims to provide a common language and understanding of the body. This is a foundational intensive for our 300-hour training program, creating a lens that will be carried through all of the other courses.
These 11.75 hours will cover the five categories of asana (standing poses, forward bends, backbends, twists and inversions) while focusing on modifications for specific health conditions. Trainees will gain a strong understanding of alignment and assessment methodology through asana.
