Course Overview
This course is for yoga teachers and dedicated yoga students to stay connected to the wisdom, their teacher, and sangha/community.
This new accessible weekly format is designed to anchor you into your spiritual self-care practices, carving out just one hour per week on your lunch break to put everything else down and dip into the wisdom of Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda, to be applied to your life right now.
This course is also a sustainable reminder of how to best share these timeless teachings with your group class students, private yoga therapy clients, or family and friends.
I couldn’t be more excited about this course! A free-flowing forum to stitch together the most potent teaching of Yoga Therapy, Public Health, Ayurveda, and Positive Psychology.

This course meets every Tuesday from 12:00-1:00PM PT on Zoom.
Course Details
Course Tuition:
- Included in 300hr auto-pay
- A la carte – $28 drop in per class
- A la carte – $75 per month on autopay
- YTT Alumni – $10 per class
- YTT Alumni – $40 per month on autopay

Katie Allen, MPH, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500
Katie Allen, MPH, is a public health professional, yoga therapist, and educator dedicated to advancing integrative and lifestyle medicine approaches to chronic disease prevention. She earned her Master’s in Public Health from Tulane University, where her thesis explored yoga’s role in preventing and treating chronic disease, and began her studies in yoga therapy at Loyola Marymount University with Dr. Larry Payne. Katie co-founded Be The Change Yoga Studio and Wellness Center in Irvine, California in 2013 and is the founding director of AlcheMē Yoga Therapy, Orange County’s first IAYT-accredited yoga therapist training program.
Throughout her career, she has developed yoga therapy and health education programs for healthcare systems, community clinics, and behavioral health organizations, including collaborations with Hoag Health, UCI Health’s Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute, and community health centers serving underserved populations. Passionate about translating the wisdom of yoga into practical tools for modern health challenges, Katie works to train the next generation of integrative health providers while building community-based programs that empower individuals and communities to live healthier, more resilient lives.
