11/23 The Yoga Sutras and You
November 23, 2019 @ 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm
$30This Course is Open to All Students
Composed over 2,300 years ago, the Sutras present Yoga as a complete system of spiritual psychology and philosophy. This wisdom offers profound insights on the nature of the mind, as well as a wealth of resources for reducing suffering and cultivating more sustained joy. Familiarity with the Sutras is essential for the most effective practice of Yoga as well as a deeper understanding of Yoga psychology. Studying these timeless truths with a qualified teacher (one with whom you resonate) is a journey deep into the human heart and mind.
In the Krishnamacharya lineage, the teachings outlined in the Yoga Sutras are presented with a therapeutic lens. We look to the Sutras to identify which patterns are no longer working and to help us create newer, better ones!
