The Yoga of Relationships
Open to all students, learn how to apply yogic practices to improve relationships and cultivate more joy!
Relationships can serve as a primary source of suffering or joy. This intensive will give students an in-depth study of yogic philosophy and how it applies to relationships. Yoga is about transformation. As we learn to improve communication, we are empowered, and we begin to change. As we interact with others, this change can start to permeate the lives of others.
By understanding the Yamas, one of the eight limbs of yoga philosophy, we can find the direct applications of these teachings to our relationships and use this knowledge to upgrade them. We will focus on how to assess relationship issues, ask clarifying questions, and integrate appropriate practices to cultivate sattvic (balanced) relationships.

Ashley Arroliga, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, views yoga as a healing art. She completed her 200 HR, 300 HR, and Yoga Therapist trainings here at Be the Change Yoga. Ashley has a great love of holistic healing methods. She has a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Thomas Edison State University, and loves combining this background with the Yoga Sutras in practice.
Ashley teaches therapeutic group classes at BTC and Hoag, and is a lead trainer in our 200 HR training. She specializes in healing for anxiety, depression, and PTSD especially for those in recovery from Disordered Eating, and for those in the LGTBQIA+ communities. She is a Viniyoga practitioner, meeting her students where they are and designing practices specific to their needs. She builds strong connections with her students and loves taking on private clients to delve deeper into the many tools yoga offers.
Kelsey Delane, E-RYT 500, Yoga Therapist in Training, is a Yoga Mentor & Reiki Master who guides fellow Yogis & Yoga Teachers toward more sustained joy using time-tested, practical tools. She is especially enthusiastic about teaching the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali through one on one mentorship, online platforms, and in-person workshops. Kelsey also shares her love of Yoga by training upcoming teachers throughout Orange County, working with teen girls through UPLIFT Yoga Foundation, and working with pre and postnatal students.
Kelsey has over 1000 hours of formal training ranging from power yoga to trauma informed yoga which equip her with a wide range of tools for meeting her students where they are in the journey. She believes that the key to optimal health is balance, and strives to live this out in the way she cares for her body, mind and relationships. When she is not teaching or practicing Yoga, you’ll find Kelsey curled up with a book alongside her husband, daughters, and sweet pup, Cooper.
