Gennavie Johnson, RYT-500, E RYT-200, and RCYT Instructor

Genna has been a yoga instructor in Orange County since 2017, with a particular focus on children’s yoga education. In addition to being a yoga instructor, Genna is pursuing her licensure to become a professional children’s therapist and LMFT. If Genna were a Venn diagram, she would exist at the center of three circles: yoga, working with children, and the study of mental health/trauma.

She plans to pursue a Ph.D. and conduct research on the intersection of these three fields, developing a play-based, trauma-informed yoga therapy program for children that can be used by anyone who works with kids.
