8/31 Roll + Restore Workshop

This Workshop is Open to Students of All Levels and Backgrounds

Tune up your tissues by rolling them out. We will be rolling from head to toe, covering areas of the body in which most people carry tension. We all hold tightness in various places in the body and rolling helps to:
• Release tension
• Help to rehydrate tissues
• Provide greater ease of movement
• Increase your proprioception, knowing where your body is in space
• Activate your relaxation response
Learn the skills to do your own rolling. Students will leave feeling refreshed and at ease. We will conclude our rolling time with a restorative relaxation pose at then end. No prior rolling experience is necessary.

About Susan

Susan Kjesbo is a Therapeutic yoga teacher focusing on the healing aspects of yoga, she works to help her students connect the mind, body and spirit by creating a compassionate environment during class. Yoga for bone strength and reducing stress are two of her specialities.  She has trained with Loren Fishman and is currently participating in the International Study, Yoga vs. Osteoporosis being conducted by Loren Fishman.  www.susankjesbo.com
