A 1-Day Training for Yoga Teachers, Therapists, and Healing Professionals
Understanding trauma is essential for any practitioner working in wellness, therapy, or education. This powerful one-day training is designed to equip yoga teachers, mental health professionals, social workers, victim advocates, and healing practitioners with the tools needed to create trauma-informed environments.
Led by experienced facilitators, this course explores how trauma impacts the body, mind, and relationships — and how to use the tools of yoga therapy with sensitivity, respect, and awareness.
You’ll learn how to recognize trauma responses, assess students compassionately, and adapt practices including asana, pranayama, and meditation to support nervous system regulation and healing.
Topics Covered:
- The impact of trauma on physical, emotional, and relational health
- A trauma-informed framework for working with individuals + groups
- Conducting safe, compassionate client intakes
- Adaptations of asana, breath, and meditation for trauma survivors
- Understanding triggers, boundaries, and nervous system safety
- Cultivating resilience and empowerment through practice
This training is a foundational step in becoming a more conscious and inclusive teacher or therapist. Whether you’re guiding group classes or working one-on-one, this course will give you the confidence and clarity to lead with compassion.

Kelsey Delane, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500
Kelsey Delane, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, is a Yoga Mentor & Reiki Master who guides fellow Yogis & Yoga Teachers toward more sustained joy using time-tested, practical tools. She is especially enthusiastic about teaching the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali through one on one mentorship, online platforms, and in-person workshops. Kelsey also shares her love of Yoga by training upcoming teachers throughout Orange County, working with teen girls through UPLIFT Yoga Foundation, and working with pre and postnatal students.
Kelsey has over 1000 hours of formal training ranging from power yoga to trauma informed yoga which equip her with a wide range of tools for meeting her students where they are in the journey. She believes that the key to optimal health is balance, and strives to live this out in the way she cares for her body, mind and relationships. When she is not teaching or practicing Yoga, you’ll find Kelsey curled up with a book alongside her husband, daughters, and sweet pup, Cooper.
